Annabel and Matt – Wedding

Some weddings just epitomize quintessential Englishness and Annabel and Matt’s recent country wedding in Derbyshire really did just that. They married in the tiniest of churches and followed with a champagne filled reception in a stunning marquee courtesy of Jacquie Andrassy – the best!

Annabel is a classic English rose, so pretty she stops you dead in your tracks. I adored her beautiful Paloma Blanca dress and one of the cutest ideas I’ve seen in ages – getting her family to sign her wedding shoes, how lovely is that?

As everyone prepared in the morning the rain poured down giving us all a bit of a fright but as Annabel arrived at church the sky turned blue and the sun shone brilliantly and stayed with us for the rest of the day – perfect!

I knew this wedding was going to be gorgeous and it was …. I absolutely loved the whole thing…… a perfect English wedding.

    Wow – once again …beautiful!

You guys really understand the whole photojournalist/reportage style + the added ‘direction’ to get the best shots.
You work the light so well & your post production skills make everything look so ‘fresh’!
Reckon it’s among the best I have seen.

Look forward to seeing the next one!

So serenely happy – some of the bride’s profile shots are soooo pretty.

I love the soft veil – having worn one myself I’m a big fan of full length veils.

Gorgeous shots as always Jo and Si – I especially like the picture of them strutting up the path next to the stone wall, bride with dress bundled up in hand!

Kathy – do you think there’s a way we can convince Jo and Simon that we’re both getting married all over again just to repeat the experience??? 🙂
