Over the years we have photographed weddings back to back, we have photographed weddings three days in a row but we have never photographed three weddings in one day before!
We recently worked with a brilliant bunch of people to produce some images for The University of Sheffield and their brand new wedding website. They have four great little venues, all unique in their own way with both contemporary and traditional settings. Having worked with the team at Firth Court on a couple of real weddings I can safely say that you couldn’t find a better team to look after you on a wedding day.
First up is The Edge, set in the heart of the university campus amid beautiful gardens and a fabulous contemporary backdrop of the building itself…… huge thanks to our adorable models Will and Bella who were totally brilliant and a joy to photograph.
Next is The Ridge, a gorgeous little boutique style bar, perfect for parties and contemporary wedding celebrations. Some of you reading this may recognise our gorgeous model, none other than Catherine the brilliant florist of Petalis fame who I had to beg to do it but I knew she would look amazing and she completely did…..her other half for the day was Sam, bless him. I don’t think he had any idea what he was letting himself in for and he was a fantastic sport!
Finally it’s The Halifax a lovely little venue for a classic wedding set in a gorgeous building with some great architectural features and gorgeous gardens. Now I have a little story to tell about our two lovely models Laura and Robin….. They knew each other, they were friends and had had a little fling some time ago but things never really got off the ground. So Laura roped Robin in as her model for our shoot and well…… the chemistry… twit twoooooo!!
A few weeks after the shoot I had an email from Laura to say that since then she and Robin had fallen madly in love and they are now a couple!!!!!!!!!! How amazing is that?
Oh I do love my job!!!
We had an absolutely brilliant day!

Special mention to Catherine once again for not only supplying the beautiful flowers but also stepping outside of her comfort zone by a million miles to model for us. I have wanted to photograph her forever, I knew she would look amazing, and the shot of her in the grasses is my favourite from the whole day!
Brilliant photography as usual, but what amazing locations and fascinating architecture – who’d’ve thought of a wedding on university campus! They will be inundated with bookings now with your fab photos 🙂
