Jo & Ben – Hassop Hall Wedding

Jo and Ben’s fab wedding on one of the most beautiful days of the year was nothing short of a lesson in how to ‘do’ complete and utter gorgeousness perfectly. There were so many lovely pretty details, the most amazing colour scheme, the prettiest florals and one of the best wedding venues around – Hassop Hall.

Jo’s beautiful San Patrick dress made it onto my all-time favorites list and that little sports car…….. wow amazing!

We also got to work with someone whose work I so admire Jeff Wood Visuals, and I really cannot wait to see the results.

Totally loved it!

Jo & Ben’s I Do Details were ……

Dress – The Little White Dress, Nottingham

Bridesmaid Dresses – Coast

Flower girl Dresses – Monsoon

Flowers – Brambles, Mansfield

Grooms & Ushers Suits – Waterers Tailors, St Albans

Rings – A & S Jewellers, Hatton Garden, London

Cake – Made by Family member

WOW!!!! Photos are literally stunning! What a really wonderful and beautiful day it was. So much effort and talent in all the design and finer details, and the fact you are a great looking couple to top it off. I’m just so heartbroken I couldn’t be there to celebrate with you. Missing a day like that is the side of living in America that totally sucks!!

I love the photos of your wedding at hassop hall, really gorgeous! we are going to book for a wedding in 2015 shortly.. Can you tell me which church you got married at? Clare

    • Jo & Ben says:

      Hi Clare,
Thanks for your kind comments! The church is St Marys in Sutton-in-Ashfield where I grew up but it’s around 45mins from Hassop.
It was sentimental to me to get married where my parents where married and where I grew up. We did debate on this for a while because of the distance between the church and Hassop especially in the middle of summertime when the traffic could have been bad heading into Bakewell. Luckily it was all fine and the guests were so taken back by Hassop Hall that they didn’t mind the drive. I think there is a church very close by to Hassop that will marry you even if your outside the parish but you have to attend regular services there for 6months before.
Good choice in Hassop, it’s an amazing venue and Helen and team there are fantastic!
      Happy Wedding planning, Jo xx
