Last Friday took us to Chatsworth for the first of two weddings there last weekend. Jayne and Clive had planned an amazing day filled with fabulous touches and the most magnificent floral displays I’ve ever seen at Chatsworth. They wanted the wedding to be very much about the children and all their lovely guests and they had quite a few surprises up their sleeves for them. I loved the way that the guests were there to greet Jayne as she arrived in her carriage (to a couple of trumpeters of course) it was a bit of a lump in the throat moment for sure. Then following dinner they were all treated to some beautiful singing by The Kinder Children’s Choir who were amazing and of whom Clive is Chairman. Then as if that wasn’t enough there was dancing to the jazz band and finally some flame throwers in the courtyard!
