I had been looking forward to Catherine and Tony’s wedding for so long, it was at an extraordinarily beautiful new venue in the most glorious setting in Hathersage, Derbyshire called Brookfield Pavillion. It’s quite new with only a handful of weddings having taken place there so far but WOW it is truly spectacular. With tip top service from one of the best teams in the business, absolutely nothing is too much trouble.
Catherine looked absolutely beautiful in her Anoushka G dress and I don’t think I have ever seen a bride arrive in such a torrential rain storm!
The whole day was very special. A wedding filled with lots of love and happiness for two very close families. Just such a privilege to witness that.
Thank you for a wonderful day xx

Love, love , love the photos and that just the ones on the blog have yet to see the rest.
We had only just begun our search for a photographer when Jo and Simon were recommended to us by Jacquie, the marquee contractor for Brookfield. When we went to meet them they put us as ease straight away, and although we looked through other weddings they had photographed and liked what we saw, we just immediately took to them and knew we wanted them to ‘do’ our wedding.
They are a lovely couple, on the day it was like having friends taking the photos. We all just felt so relaxed with them it was easy to forget why they were there. Lots of our guests commented on how great they were, just really happy and ‘smiley’ which encouraged happy shots and all have been keen to see the photos as well as get in the photos on the day!! We were a little unlucky with the weather which cut out some of the group shots we thought we wanted but Jo and Simon snapped away for hours and we love the less formal shots of all of our guests enjoying the day. They were so much part of the day that a friend commented they were enjoying, and laughing away through, the speeches which you suspect at times must get a bit tedious (at least we think that’s what they were laughing at!!). They were also not the least bit phased by guests ‘stealing’ their shots by standing beside them as they took them, and even encouraged it.
Anyway, if you are reading this as part of your research for your wedding photographers or in fact for any event we cannot recommended Jo and Simon/Shoot, highly enough, we hope you can see from the words above how thrilled we were with how they were on the day and how pleased we are with photos which just captured the mood of the day, made us look good! and which we will treasure forever!
Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to write those words guys. We can’t explain how much it means to us that you are so happy. xxx
