Leona & Neil – Stapleford Park Wedding

Being asked to photograph the wedding of a wedding industry professional is a huge honour and we were thrilled that the wonderful make-up artist Leona Seymour, who we have worked with many times, asked us to document her day. She is absolutely gorgeous, inside and out and I knew it was going to be a beautiful wedding. It took place at Stapleford Park in Leicestershire, a gorgeous venue, with an amazing period feel.

Leona looked completely stunning, pure Hollywood glamour, in a fabulous Gemy Couture satin gown which fitted her like a glove.  James White, one of my favourite hairdressers ever and who is always a joy to work with was on hand to complete the film star look.

Leona and Neil had a civil ceremony, late in the afternoon, followed by drinks and canapés and then the best bride and groom announce in ever to the sounds of ‘Sexy and I know it’, my cheeks ached from smiling it was so brilliant!!

Something I have always wanted to see as a wedding photographer is Jewish chair dancing and when Leona told me that they would also be having a Jewish blessing and doing exactly that I was just so, so excited. I wasn’t disappointed and it was simply one of the best wedding moments I have EVER witnessed.
