Tony & Nusha – Hassop Hall Wedding

Nusha is one of those people who just doesn’t get how beautiful she is. Whenever we have met she has always left me in a state of envy as THAT is how I want to look! She has such effortless style it’s sickening!

I knew for a fact that I was going to love this wedding and as soon as I spotted the shoes my suspicions were confirmed and then when I saw Nusha in the dress …….. wow, she just has IT!

Nusha hates to be the centre of attention, which of course just makes her all the more alluring. Tony is just as gorgeous, they are both fantastic people and we LOVED photographing their wedding at Hassop Hall. They have a brilliant bunch of mates and the hen pictures are some of my favorites ever. I wish the word ‘twiglets’ created as many laughs at every wedding!

Thank you so much to you both for asking us to to be there too – WE LOVED IT!!

Sarah and Tony – Thornbridge Hall Wedding

I have wanted to photograph a wedding at Thornbridge Hall forever but the venue always seemed to elude us. Until this year that is and we have been blessed with two amazing weddings there.

First up is this spectacular affair……..

Sarah looked totally gorgeous in her amazing dress, supplied by http://www.emilybridalwear.co.uk . The shoes were Christian Dior and to die for.

Sarah and Tony know how to put on a party and they pulled out all the stops to create a fantastic day for their guests. Veuve Cliquot flowed all day long; the flowers were literally jaw dropping created by the very talented Matt at http://www.redfloral.co.uk/.  The food and service from  Thornbridge Hall was amazing and to top it all off they held an auction for a charity close their hearts http://www.headway.org.uk which went down an absolute storm. Not surprising really with the most generous prizes including Wimbledon Tickets, West End show tickets and  designer handbags!

Every detail was just beautiful and all pulled together by Joy at http://www.uniqueweddingplanning.co.uk and we absolutely LOVED it!

Sarah and Elliot – Norfolk Wedding at Southwood Hall

I’ve never been to Norfolk! Well actually I have now, but I hadn’t before Sarah and Elliott’s gorgeous wedding recently at Southwood Hall and it is just so lovely.

We hadn’t met Sarah and Elliot prior to the wedding and so we headed down there the day before to meet them and then enjoyed a lovely evening to ourselves which we don’t often get. I’m a bit of a fuss pot when it comes to where I lay my head and so I was thrilled when I found this gorgeous little B&B for us to stay in. … The Old Bakery was perfect. If you ever find yourself down there you definitely need to stay here!

The weather forecast for the day itself was really dreadful and we all expected a lot of rain. However we woke up in the morning to brilliant sunshine which stayed with us all day – it was glorious and I was so happy for them both.

Sarah looked absolutely perfect in her beautiful lace dress, she had an elegant classic ‘up do’ which was a work of art in itself and I loved the fact that there were adorable little bridesmaids to photograph, its something we see less and less of nowadays.

Simply beautiful and I just loved the whole thing….

Many, many congratulations to you both. xx

Clare and Geoff – Wedding at The Maynard

We were off to The Maynard again a couple of weeks ago for a very beautiful wedding.

Clare was such an adorable bride who looked like a film star in her La Sposa gown. Beautiful bridesmaids with the prettiest shoes, gorgeous styling and one of the funniest ceremonies ever….. Clare and Geoff took huge delight in asking their guests to sing the wedding classic ‘All You Need Is Love’ which was a brilliant idea and had them all in stitches and then there was Harold the registrar who never fails to make me giggle!

The weather was beautiful, with just the odd tinkle of rain but it remained fine for them to let of some lanterns after the first dance before they all piled back on the dance floor to party.

Brilliant!!

Many, many congratulations to you both. xx

Alex and Stewart – Babbacombe Wedding

A wedding in our favourite part of the world would be a treat at the best of times but when its for two of the nicest people you could wish to meet it doesn’t get any better being a wedding photographer.

I knew from the very first email from Alex that we were going to get along. Then we met and discovered our mutual obsession for wedding blogs far and wide and that sealed the deal!

Alex poured her heart and soul into planning the wedding which took place in her home town of Babbacombe in Devon. They were married in a very romantic ceremony in one of the most beautiful churches. They followed with a  wedding breakfast at The Palace Hotel and then after a glorious trip to the beach the pair joined their guests again at Alex’s parents Morningside Hotel which sits right on Babbacombe Downs and has the most amazing views. They said they wanted the evening to be a real party and we left with the whole place jumping so I kind of think that’s what happened!

You were fabulous guys….. Thanks so much for making us feel so welcome, I want to do it all again!!!
