I am well into recovery with my knee now and I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel, however I am still missing the world of weddings so much. I thought that now seemed the perfect time for me to revisit some of my favorite weddings which happened before my blogging started and add them here for all to see!

This is one of our most gorgeous weddings ever. Ed and Paul married at Hassop Hall in Derbyshire on a very, very wet and windy weekend in February. So, no chance for outside photographs. Not to worry though, Hassop Hall is the perfect winter wedding venue as it always looks and feels so beautifully warm and cosy.

Edwina was the chicest of brides  – AMAZING Jenny Packham Gown and of course some DARLING Gina Shoes!

My enforced wedding sabbatical is killing me whilst my new knee settles in.  Although I’m being a good girl and doing as my wonderful physio Anna says I’ve been having massive wedding withdrawal symptoms. When I decided to have the op done Simon and I made the decision not to book any weddings in between January and April but there was one wedding that we couldn’t resist and that we had planned for Simon to do on his own.  However, after nagging Anna (the wonderful physio) half to death she allowed me to go for at least part of the day as long as I promised to do lots of sitting down in between all the important bits and I am soooooooo glad that she did. This gorgeous little piece of wedding loveliness is the result.

Anna is the gorgeous bride and Gary the ever so dapper groom. They were married in a very moving ceremony at Fulwood Church and held their reception at the ever beautiful Hassop Hall in Derbyshire. Anna looked truly stunning in her beautiful lace gown, her Flo & Percy headdress was to die for and the bridesmaids looked fab in cerise. Gary treated himself to a bit of bespoke tailoring and had his suit made at Andrew Mussons in Lincoln, it was fantastic and Simon won’t rest until he has one too!

Anna and Gary’s very good friend is Jodi Hinds a leading Sheffield Wedding Photographer. Naturally they wanted her to be a guest and not ‘on duty’ and Jodi was very kind in recommending them to us – thank you Jodi.

We had a lovely time with you guys and wish you both all the love and happiness in the world.

I love everything about Charlotte and James’s wedding which took place recently at Ranmoor Church and Hassop Hall. It was chic without being overly designed, traditional without being stuffy and contemporary without being edgy. It’s perfect in my book AND it just happens to be two of the most fabulous people you could wish to meet – loved ‘em!!

Jenny and Paddy married between Christmas and new Year at the lovely wedding venue of Hassop Hall. Jenny is quite probably one of our most excited brides ever. We loved her infectious personality and she just makes you smile whenever you’re in her company! Paddy was the epitome of calmness – a perfect marriage of personalities!
