Tony & Nusha – Hassop Hall Wedding

Nusha is one of those people who just doesn’t get how beautiful she is. Whenever we have met she has always left me in a state of envy as THAT is how I want to look! She has such effortless style it’s sickening!

I knew for a fact that I was going to love this wedding and as soon as I spotted the shoes my suspicions were confirmed and then when I saw Nusha in the dress …….. wow, she just has IT!

Nusha hates to be the centre of attention, which of course just makes her all the more alluring. Tony is just as gorgeous, they are both fantastic people and we LOVED photographing their wedding at Hassop Hall. They have a brilliant bunch of mates and the hen pictures are some of my favorites ever. I wish the word ‘twiglets’ created as many laughs at every wedding!

Thank you so much to you both for asking us to to be there too – WE LOVED IT!!

Helen and Mark – Hassop Hall Wedding

I love winter weddings, there is just something very special about the atmosphere, things are always cosy and there are roaring fires and twinkly lights. When there’s a dusting of snow they turn into something magical.

Helen and Mark were married in a beautiful church ceremony and held their reception at one of my favourite venues, Hassop Hall in Derbyshire. It really seems to come alive in winter.

The whole affair was a true classic from start to finish, Helen looked A.mazing with a drop dead gorgeous dress and the perfect classic chignon…. Simply beautiful.

Ed and Paul Wedding

I am well into recovery with my knee now and I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel, however I am still missing the world of weddings so much. I thought that now seemed the perfect time for me to revisit some of my favorite weddings which happened before my blogging started and add them here for all to see!

This is one of our most gorgeous weddings ever. Ed and Paul married at Hassop Hall in Derbyshire on a very, very wet and windy weekend in February. So, no chance for outside photographs. Not to worry though, Hassop Hall is the perfect winter wedding venue as it always looks and feels so beautifully warm and cosy.

Edwina was the chicest of brides  – AMAZING Jenny Packham Gown and of course some DARLING Gina Shoes!

Anna and Gary – Wedding

My enforced wedding sabbatical is killing me whilst my new knee settles in.  Although I’m being a good girl and doing as my wonderful physio Anna says I’ve been having massive wedding withdrawal symptoms. When I decided to have the op done Simon and I made the decision not to book any weddings in between January and April but there was one wedding that we couldn’t resist and that we had planned for Simon to do on his own.  However, after nagging Anna (the wonderful physio) half to death she allowed me to go for at least part of the day as long as I promised to do lots of sitting down in between all the important bits and I am soooooooo glad that she did. This gorgeous little piece of wedding loveliness is the result.

Anna is the gorgeous bride and Gary the ever so dapper groom. They were married in a very moving ceremony at Fulwood Church and held their reception at the ever beautiful Hassop Hall in Derbyshire. Anna looked truly stunning in her beautiful lace gown, her Flo & Percy headdress was to die for and the bridesmaids looked fab in cerise. Gary treated himself to a bit of bespoke tailoring and had his suit made at Andrew Mussons in Lincoln, it was fantastic and Simon won’t rest until he has one too!

Anna and Gary’s very good friend is Jodi Hinds a leading Sheffield Wedding Photographer. Naturally they wanted her to be a guest and not ‘on duty’ and Jodi was very kind in recommending them to us – thank you Jodi.

We had a lovely time with you guys and wish you both all the love and happiness in the world.

Charlotte and James

I love everything about Charlotte and James’s wedding which took place recently at Ranmoor Church and Hassop Hall. It was chic without being overly designed, traditional without being stuffy and contemporary without being edgy. It’s perfect in my book AND it just happens to be two of the most fabulous people you could wish to meet – loved ‘em!!
