I know of many brides who marry in high summer because they desperately want the very temperamental British weather to be at its best. Here’s a tip …… marry in the Autumn. The weather has been consistently good in September and October over the last few years and last Saturday was really no exception. With November within a hairs breadth the temperatures were in the late sixties. The glorious setting of Richmond, overlooking the Thames was just gorgeous and a perfect location for this fantastic couple. We loved them and had a brilliant time with them and all of their guests. Michelle and Jo win the prize this year for giggliest bridesmaids – hilarious!

We squeezed in a quick shoot last week with the lovely Jo & Nick and their gorgeous little poppet Sophie. She is just adorable and wasn’t at all phased about having a couple of lenses pointed at her! Here are a few of my favourite images.

I know I have been a little quiet on my blog of late – just so much to do and so little time to do it in! I am off in to hospital this weekend for a knew knee – eeek so I promise the blog will be all up to date soon when I am imprisoned!! In the meantime here’s a quick little sneak preview of a recent portrait shoot for two very beautiful girls. Oh to be young and beautiful!

I absolutely love autumn, almost my favorite time of year, although those who know me know that I love freezing cold winter days the most, preferably with some snow on the ground and a gentle breeze whistling around my ears. Anyway I digress. Last week we spent the afternoon with these gorgeous folks, my very good friend Sue and her sister Kate, their hubbies and their children. They wanted a family portrait as a special present for their parents. The weather was absolutely glorious, the falling leaves were just beautiful and Amelia and Benjamin turned out to be two of the most photogenic kids we’ve come across which makes life a lot less difficult!! Here’s a sneak preview…….

Well we were recently off down to Brentwood in Essex for the wedding of the fabulous Sandy and Simon. We had really been looking forward to it as we had known them as guests from a previous wedding of ours and had fallen in love with them, they are just so full of life and spirit and so much fun we knew we were going to have a great time with them. We certainly did, the whole day was just fabulous. They were married in Brentwood Cathedral which is such a magnificent place and then followed this with a reception at the brilliantly run Leez Priory. The day ran like clockwork, thanks to Suzy who looked after us that day, the weather was gorgeous and the guests were brilliant. We LOVE our job!!
