Saturday took us to Chatsworth House for the very romantic wedding of Carol and Darren, an amazing couple whose love for each other was evident for all to see. They live in the USA but had fallen in love with the idea of marrying at Chatsworth House and had planned the whole wedding from 3,000 miles away in Massachusetts – quite a feat! The romantic ceremony was  in the beautiful church at Edensor on the Chatsworth Estate. Carol was a dream bride to photograph, boy could she ‘work it’ – totally amazing!  We absolutely loved our day with them and their lovely families – I completely fell in love with Agnesa, Carol’s grandmother, who was totally adorable and very, very beautiful. Here are some of my favorite images from the day.

We also filmed the wedding and we are busy working on the edit for that so that they can play it at the reception for all of their friends and family in Boston. Look out for it here soon – if you don’t want to miss it then subscribe to the blog (on the botton above) and you will be notified when its here for you to see..

A few weeks ago we filmed and photographed the wedding of a fantastic couple – Katy and James. They were married in a Tepee in the middle of a field in torrential rain on probably the wettest day of the year– BRILLIANT!!! We had an absolutely fabulous time with them and it is a day Simon and I will never forget.

Here, finally, is a short version of their wedding day film……

Oh My Oh My I love my job! Saturday took us to the Maynard Arms in Grindleford Derbyshire for the wedding of Liz and Matt. Liz is the best friend of one of our friends, Thomas (he’s the one trying to get in on the act on the bridesmaids knees!) The day went brilliantly, the weather was perfect, the guests were fantastic, the venue was one of our favourites where everything always goes like clockwork. Liz is one of the most stunningly beautiful girls we have had the privilege to photograph, the best thing about it is that she doesn’t realise how beautiful she is – just a joy to photograph. The whole day was just gorgeous and we loved everything about it.

Yesterday I sent out this Queensberry Album to Kate and Andy. They chose a classic white leather cover and timeless ivory pages. I love this bit, it’s the culmination of the whole story and I’m always thrilled when I know our clients are happy.

To Jo and Simon
Thank you so much for the beautiful album that you have created for us, we absolutely love it!!! We really couldn’t have asked for anything more, it is just perfect and we will always treasure it. You captured the day perfectly and made us feel so relaxed in front of the camera, we can’t stop recommending you to people! We’re now looking forwards to seeing you on 2nd October for Sandy and Simon’s wedding!!

Well Saturday took us off to West Yorkshire for the wedding of Laura and Charles. It was B-E-A-U-T-i-F-U-L !!!! Laura looked phenomenal in a stunning dress which fitted like a glove, her shoes were gorgeous, all the details to die for.  The bridesmaids were all brilliant and insistent they were all soo un-photogenic, err I don’t think so girls! The wedding breakfast was held in the grounds of Charles’s parents in the most amazing marquee. Jacquie Andrassy of Andrassy Marquees is the ultimate professional, her attention to detail is unrivalled, literally not a thing out of place. We love working with her as everything goes like clockwork and she just makes our job so much easier. Big thanks to Jacquie too for the best lighting rig around – it makes for the most amazing dancing shots.
