I love everything about Charlotte and James’s wedding which took place recently at Ranmoor Church and Hassop Hall. It was chic without being overly designed, traditional without being stuffy and contemporary without being edgy. It’s perfect in my book AND it just happens to be two of the most fabulous people you could wish to meet – loved ‘em!!

This pre wedding shoot was destined not to happen. Poor James broke his leg which meant he was out of action for a while, we had then rearranged and poor Charlotte had her handbag nicked on her hen weekend in Spain so had to hot foot it up to Durham on the day of our appointment to get a new one. Finally we managed to get together just a few days before the wedding and it threw it down! Still Charlotte and James are a great couple and we really loved being with them. They brought along their adorable little boy Henry – how gorgeous is he!

We travelled down to Kent last week for the wedding of Claire and Michael. I had so been looking forward to it; Claire had literally been planning the wedding for years. Well she didn’t disappoint! Everything was so beautiful with a gorgeous vintage theme, lots of happy smiley faces and a brilliant party atmosphere. The ceremony was really moving and then everyone jumped on a Route Master bus to the venue and enjoyed a champagne picnic on the way – fabulous!

Helen and Stuart were married on Friday 10th July in the magnificent church of St John’s in Ranmoor, Sheffield. They followed with a reception at The Maynard Arms at Grindleford in Derbyshire. Helen is probably one of the funniest girls we have ever come across, her enthusiasm and pure joy in relation to anything to do with her wedding was completely infectious.

We took on the huge task of both photographing and filming the wedding which was a first for us

We were very lucky to have our friend and colleague Gill Maheu from Geneva (aka Geneva Gill!) to give us a helping hand – Gill thank you so much you were a complete star.

Rosi and Simon were married in the lovely village church of Holmesfield in Derbyshire on Saturday 4th July. Rosi and her gorgeous bridesmaids prepared at the beautiful home of Simon’s mum where the reception was to be held later. It was all just picture perfect. It had every ingredient for the quintessential English summer wedding. Gorgeous weather, the lovely sounds of laughter and the clinking of champagne glasses and there was even a cricket match going on in the field next door. We had such a great day with them, they are truly lovely people and we wish them every happiness in their new life together.
